Plain-English terms for using TrailPassport. By creating an account you agree to these.
TrailPassport is an early beta — a work in progress under active testing. Features may change, break, or disappear. Please don’t rely on it as your only record of anything that matters to you.
Because this is a test, your data (including hikes, progress, and your account) may be changed, reset, or deleted at any time, without notice. Keep your own copy of any hike files you care about. You can also delete your own activities or account at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
Trail, weather, and avalanche information in TrailPassport is for general planning only and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. It is not a substitute for official safety information. Before heading out, always check official sources — the SLF avalanche bulletin, MeteoSwiss, and SchweizMobil — and only hike within your ability, equipment, and the conditions on the day. You are responsible for your own safety in the mountains.
TrailPassport is provided “as is”, with no warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from using the app or relying on its information.
Use TrailPassport for your own hiking records. Don’t upload data that isn’t yours, try to access other people’s private data, or abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others.
